Ancient Wilds – Green
Strength: A lot of Mana, Tokens, Draw Cards
Weakness: Creature Heavy, Not many counter spells
Ancient Wilds is a fairly “standard” green style deck, with a ton of creatures and card drawing. It can be easy to build up a strong creature hand, but late game may be a problem due to lack of spells and counter spells.
Obedient Dead – Black
Strength: Good Balance between creature and spells, good control and lifesteal
Weakness: Weak creatures, better late game
Obedient Dead is a decent all around deck that focuses on lifesteal and creature control. While the lifesteal and anti-creature tokens are great, it can be difficult to go up against stronger creatures from other decks. Building up a decent offensive army can be hard, so make sure to use spells like Execute to keep the pressure off.
Peacekeepers – White
Strength: Great defensive deck, a ton of buffs and tokens
Weakness: Weak offensively
Peacekeepers is a fairly defensive style white deck, with a lot of damage mitigation and vigilance. The deck can be weak against stronger units sometimes, although the creature buffs can add up into a great offense.
Exalted Darkness – White/Black
Strength: Good early game, great offense
Weakness: Bad defense, hard to fight burst damage decks
Exalted Darkness is a black/white deck that relies on building an army of creature using the Exalted mechanic. This can be great early game, since most of the creatures are cheap and weak, and form together for a very strong offense. However, the deck relies heavily on attacking, as there are not too many counter spells or stronger defensive units.
Crosswinds – Blue
Strength: Good control, drawing cards, and strong spells
Weakness: Weak creatures, vulnerable early game
Crosswinds is a classic blue style deck that relies heavily on control and spells rather than creatures. The deck is a beast late game with spells like Rite of Replication and strong artifacts, but can be weak early game against decks that can pump out creatures quickly.
Born of Flame – Red
Strength: Burst damage, Decent creatures
Weakness: Many creatures weak without mana, self damage
Born of Flame is a pretty standard red deck, with a ton of burst and direct damage spells and weak, high offense creatures. The deck has a generally poor direct defense, so make sure you nuke down stronger enemy creatures. Many of the creatures in this deck also rely on mana for stat boosting.
Pack Instinct – Green
Strength: Buffs, strong creatures
Weakness: Weak spells, relies on creatures
Pack Instinct is a great deck for building up a pack of strong creatures, but can be weak in terms of spell cards. Usually a pretty solid deck throughout most of the game since you can get strong creatures on the field within a couple turns.
Dream Puppets – Blue
Strength: Strong spells, draw cards
Weakness: Low on creatures, relies on control
Dream Puppets relies heavily on control and spells, which can be both a good and bad thing. Getting creatures out on the field can be hard sometimes, so be sure to control your opponents with spells and keep enemy creatures off the field.
Goblin Gangland – Red
Strength: Strong offense and cheap creatures
Weakness: Weak creatures, weak defense, bad against flying
Gobling Gangland is a heavy offense style red deck, with a ton of creatures with haste and direct damage spells. Since the deck relies on attacking relentlessly, make sure to keep the pressure on, as the Goblins don’t do too well defensively. If you are going against a deck with lots of flying, you are going to have a bad time, as most goblin creatures cannot hit air.
